We kicked off the month with a ride on the North Pole Express
on the Heber Valley Railroad.
We sipped hot chocolate,
sang Christmas songs,
visited with elves,
including the Big Guy himself!
It won’t be an annual tradition,
but we definitely want to do it again when Ry is a little older.
It was a fantastic start to the holidays.
And it was just the start.
Josie performed what will be her final dance recital with The Children’s Dance Academy.
Her wonderful teacher, Mrs. Emily, has closed her school.
We are very sad. Josie has had a great experience dancing with CDA.
Josie is in the back row, fartherst on the right.
The concert theme was
The Polar Express
and Josie performed in “Hot Chocolate.”
And Josie’s favorite part of every recital:
dinner at Leatherby’s with both her grandmothers after the show!
We got together with Angie, Caroline and Jana and families for our annual Christmas Dinner.
We met up with some good friends we hadn’t seen for a while to build
Christmas trains at Lowe’s.
We got some more snow.
Lots more snow.
We spent Christmas Eve at the Gubler’s
and the kids got their awesome Christmas PJ’s!
Thanks Aunt Sabra and Grandma!
The day after Christmas we headed out to Aunt Karen’s and Uncle Mike’s to celebrate with the Yee clan.
Lots of food, fun, gifts and more matching PJ’s!
Such a fun holiday season!
And all ready for the New Year!
