Chicago, 2010: Part 2

Our favorite day, by far, was our day spent with Mike and Kaye. Uncle Sam and Bob took us to visit Bob’s brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Kaye, and their beautiful home.

The girls had a great time playing in the sand and on the lawn

The dogs had a great time in the water

And the boys had a great time fishing – Mike and Kaye dug this “fish pond” themselves and keep is stocked with Blue Gill and Bass.

Uncle Tony caught the only Bass of the day. And I actually reeled in the biggest Blue Gill. Which really isn’t saying much, I mean, look at the size of Tommy’s.

But then again, I did have a great teacher

More than anything, we just had a great time visiting with great people
(Some how Kaye managed to effectively hide from the cameras the entire day. She can be seen in one of these photos, from a great distance)

And that theme – having a good time with good people – was really the whole heart of the trip.
