Josie started First Grade today!
She’s transferred to a new school so that she can participate in a Chinese Immersion program.
We attended her back to school night last night, where she got to meet both her English and Chinese teachers, her Principal, and the school mascot.
Afterwards she got to choose someplace for dinner (Costa Vida)
And dessert (carmel apple from Rocky Mt. Chocolate Factory).
She was excited to start her day, if a little apprehensive.
I was close to tears, myself, but proud to say I held it together.
When she got home, she announced that she LOVED it!
Espcially the morning in Chinese.
And I love that her choice for outfit for the first day of school is her Science Camp from two years ago.
