December is always a busy time, but we love all the activities and festivities!
Josie had her Christmas Dance Recital. Tre was so excited to see Josie on stage, he yelled, “Yay!!! Dje-Dje!!”
(Dje-Dje is the Cantonese word for “big sister”)
Josie had her school program, in which she sang lots of Christmas songs.
The class sang so well, Santa himself showed up!
A few days before Christmas Josie and I both got sick; but only for 24 hours each.
Tre started coming down with it on Christmas Eve at Aunt Karen’s house, so after taking some quick (somewhat coerced) cousin pics, we packed up and headed home.
That meant we missed the Christmas Eve dinner and gift exchange with the Jewett side of the family. But Josie got to go and Grandma brought her home later.
The next morning, Josie was up bright and early to see if Santa had brought anything. She was also very happy to see that he had enjoyed the cookies and milk she left out for him!
After checking out the cool Ninja Turtle Lair that Santa brought for Josie and Tre,
We dug into the pile that mom and dad had provided!
Tre still wasn’t feeling great, so Josie ended up opening his gifts for him while he snuggled in Daddy’s lap.
That afternoon Josie and I headed to Grandma’s House for Christmas dinner,
and some nice cousin bonding time.
Merry Christmas!
